Niklas Schwartz was born and raised in the Ruhr Valley and studied history and design (with a focus on illustration) in Münster and Bordeaux.

For 5 years, he was involved in the production of documentaries as a graphic designer and illustrator, until he started his own business in 2019.

Since then he has worked mainly for cultural institutions and publishers, but also for magazines, clubs and associations, private clients and many other small and large businesses.

Niklas‘ illustrations and designs are characterized by attention to detail, stylistic diversity, a love of experimentation, and a penchant for doing extensive research for each piece.

He is as comfortable with traditional techniques as he is with digital art.
